The new star of Formula1, Lewis Hamilton was caught at the wheel, a Mercedes car, with a speed of 196km/h. He was caught near town Laon in France.
In his short F1 activity he was very fast, but got only two fastest lap at Fuji and Sepang. For this performance and for the entire last year other races for pushing the car to the limit, he was not penalized by any authority, and we could say he got a lot of money for driving fast. But outside the track, there are limits and for this incident he had to pay 600Euro.
Will ever Lewis push a car limit in France?!? Of course, I think next time will be in 22 June at Magny-Cours. In 2007 season he finish just in position 3 after he start from 2nd place. Perhaps this event will made him drive faster next season and win his first race in France.
